ACBS 2010: An Interview with James Herbert, PhD

At the recent World Conference for the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science in Reno, NV, I had the opportunity to sit down with and interview some leading researchers in the application of mindfulness and acceptance-based processes in psychotherapy treatment.

James Herbert, PhD, a professor at Drexel University, is the second in this series. Dr. Herbert recently co-edited a book on mindfulness the use of mindfulness in psychotherapy called Acceptance and Mindfulness in Cognitive Behavior Therapy: Understanding and Applying the New Therapies. The book is due out in the fall and features an endorsement by HH the Dalai Lama!

During a banquet at the conference, Dr. Herbert graciously gave us some of his time, and we stepped aside to a quiet corner outside the noisy banquet room and conducted this interview.
